Location - Warrington, Cheshire

Salary/Package - £30,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits Package

Our client is a well-established specialist contractor operating within the façade, glazing, cladding, and building envelope sector. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the UK, the business works across commercial, healthcare, education, and residential sectors.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of projects, they are now looking to recruit an ambitious Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within a supportive and growing business.

The Role

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

* Assisting with the commercial management of façade, glazing, cladding, and roofing projects
* Supporting the preparation of valuations, variations, cost reports, and final accounts
* Assisting with subcontractor procurement and account management
* Monitoring project costs and helping to ensure budgets are maintained
* Liaising with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
* Supporting the Senior QS and Commercial Manager with day-to-day commercial duties
* Maintaining accurate project and commercial records
* Assisting with contract administration and reporting

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will have:

* Previous experience in a Quantity Surveying or Assistant QS role within construction
* Experience or exposure to façades, cladding, glazing, roofing, or the building envelope sector would be advantageous
* A good understanding of commercial processes and cost management
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Excellent communication and organisational abilities
* A motivated and career-driven attitude with a willingness to learn
* Degree-qualified or currently studying Quantity Surveying or a related discipline would be beneficial
