With in-house expertise spanning design, construction, interiors, and bespoke joinery manufacturing, the company continues to secure repeat business through its commitment to quality, collaboration, and client satisfaction. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects, they are now looking to appoint an Estimator to strengthen their pre-construction team.

The Role

We are seeking an ambitious Estimator to join the commercial team delivering CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to further develop their estimating career within a growing Design andamp; Build contractor.
The successful candidate will support the preparation and submission of competitive tenders, working closely with senior estimators, commercial teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate project pricing and successful bid submissions.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in preparing accurate and competitive estimates for CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects
* Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Produce quantity take-offs and pricing schedules
* Obtain and analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations
* Assist with the preparation of subcontractor enquiry packages
* Support the identification of commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
* Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings where required
* Work closely with commercial and operational teams throughout the tender process
* Maintain accurate estimating records and tender documentation
* Support the preparation of bid submissions and tender presentations
* Develop an understanding of construction methods, materials, and market rates
Requirements

* Previous experience within an Estimating, Assistant Estimator, or commercial role within construction or fit-out
* Interest or experience within CAT A and CAT B commercial fit-out projects
* Good understanding of construction processes and materials
* Strong numerical, analytical, and organisational skills
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Ability to manage workload effectively within a fast-paced environment
* Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
* Eagerness to learn and develop within a commercial environment
Desirable:

* Experience working within commercial fit-out or Design andamp; Build environments
* Knowledge of estimating software packages
* Experience preparing take-offs and tender documentation
* Relevant construction-related qualification
