Site Supervisor - Retail Park Project

22-Week Contract | Start Mid-July

I'm currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to join a well-established contractor delivering a retail park project in Worcester.

This is a 22-week contract starting in mid-July, working on behalf of a nationally recognised retail brand.

The project includes a mix of demolition, cladding, groundworks and external works, and you'll play a key role in supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site, ensuring works are carried out safely, efficiently and to programme.

Responsibilities:

* Supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of the project
* Supervising trades, subcontractors and site labour
* Maintaining high standards of health andamp; safety across site
* Managing barriers, exclusion zones and general site safety
* Coordinating daily activities and monitoring progress
* Liaising with subcontractors and the client team
* Reporting progress, issues and updates to the Site Manager
* Helping to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and to the required standard

Requirements:

* SSSTS (essential)
* CSCS Card
* Previous experience in a supervisory role within construction
* Strong understanding of site health andamp; safety
* Good communication and organisational skills

We're happy to consider candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including civils, groundworks, fit-out, demolition or other construction trades. This role would particularly suit someone looking to step off the tools and move into site management, with the right attitude and a proactive approach.
