Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum + Company Car + Performance Bonus

Sales Manager - Specialist Flooring Solutions

Our client is a leading specialist flooring contractor, delivering high-quality Terrazzo, Industrial Resin Flooring, and bespoke flooring solutions across the UK. With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and customer service, they work across a wide range of commercial, retail, industrial, education, and public sector projects.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an ambitious and driven Sales Manager to join their team based in Greater Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction sales professional to play a key role in developing new business, managing client relationships, and driving the continued success of an established and respected contractor.

The Role

Reporting into the senior management team and working closely with the Commercial and Contracts departments, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities while developing long-term relationships with both new and existing clients.

This is a varied role combining business development, account management, client meetings, site visits, and project support. The successful candidate will be comfortable working autonomously, travelling throughout the UK, and building lasting partnerships across multiple industry sectors.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to support business growth.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities across commercial, retail, industrial, and construction sectors.
* Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
* Manage key customer accounts, ensuring exceptional levels of service and client retention.
* Carry out site visits and surveys to understand client requirements and recommend suitable specialist flooring solutions.
* Work closely with the Commercial and Operational teams to prepare quotations and support successful project delivery.
* Achieve agreed sales targets and business development objectives.
* Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipelines, and CRM records.
* Support marketing initiatives and promote the company's specialist flooring services.
* Stay informed of market trends, competitor activity, and new product developments.

About You

Essential

* Proven sales experience within the construction industry.
* Strong business development and account management experience.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
* Highly organised with the ability to manage your own workload effectively.
* Commercially minded, target-driven, and motivated to succeed.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Willingness to travel nationwide as required.

Desirable

* Experience selling specialist flooring solutions, including Industrial Resin Flooring, Terrazzo, Ceramics, or other hard flooring products.
* Existing contacts within the construction, commercial, retail, or industrial sectors.
* Knowledge of flooring specifications and construction project processes.
