Industrial Electrical Estimator

Location: Nationwide (UK) - Hybrid Working Available

Are you an experienced Industrial Electrical Estimator looking for your next challenge? We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our growing team. With hybrid working available, we're open to applications from candidates across the UK.

The Role

As an Industrial Electrical Estimator, you'll play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a wide range of industrial electrical projects. Working closely with our pre-construction, engineering, and project delivery teams, you'll help secure new business while ensuring estimates are commercially sound and technically accurate.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare detailed and accurate electrical estimates and tender submissions.
* Review drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
* Produce take-offs and cost plans for industrial electrical installations.
* Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor quotations.
* Identify project risks, opportunities, and value engineering options.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the tender process.
* Support handovers to the delivery team following successful tenders.
* Maintain strong knowledge of current market rates and industry trends.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

* Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator within industrial projects.
* Strong understanding of industrial electrical installations and associated regulations.
* The ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Experience using estimating software (preferred but not essential).
* A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
