Rate: £19.50 per hour (PAYE Umbrella)
Contract: Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
Hours: 39 Hours Per Week

Working Hours:

* Monday to Thursday: 08:30 - 16:30
* Friday: 08:00 - 15:30

Full UK Driving Licence Required

The Opportunity

Our client, a leading contractor within the Social Housing sector, is seeking an experienced Joiner to join their responsive maintenance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking to secure a long-term position with a well-established organisation.

Key Responsibilities

* Carrying out window repairs and maintenance
* Installing, repairing, and maintaining all aspects of fencing
* Repairing and replacing fascias and soffits as required
* Completing a variety of day-to-day joinery repairs and maintenance works
* Working within both occupied and void social housing properties
* Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
* Providing excellent customer service when interacting with tenants and residents
* Working outdoors and within all weather conditions

Essential Requirements

* NVQ Level 2 in Joinery (essential)
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
* Previous experience working within the Social Housing sector
* Proven experience in:

* Window maintenance and repairs
* All aspects of fencing
* Fascias and soffits
* General domestic joinery repairs and maintenance

* Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
* Strong understanding of health and safety practices
