The Role

As Graduate Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

Assisting with the commercial management of specialist roofing, cladding, and façade projects
*

Supporting the preparation of subcontractor enquiries, procurement, and contract documentation
*

Assisting with applications for payment, valuations, variations, and final accounts
*

Producing quantity take-offs and assisting with cost reporting and CVRs
*

Monitoring project costs and supporting budget management
*

Working closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and operational teams
*

Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
*

Assisting with identifying commercial risks and value engineering opportunities
*

Maintaining accurate commercial records and project documentation
*

Developing your commercial knowledge through structured mentoring and on-the-job training

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Graduate Quantity Surveyor will have:

A degree (or be due to graduate) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related construction discipline
*

A genuine interest in pursuing a commercial career within the construction industry
*

Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
*

Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*

A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
*

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
*

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
*

A Full UK Driving Licence would be advantageous
