This is an excellent opportunity to work on large-scale infrastructure and capital investment projects, providing programme planning expertise that supports successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities

* Develop, maintain and update detailed project programmes using Primavera P6 and, where appropriate, Microsoft Project.
* Monitor programme performance by analysing progress, critical paths, milestones and overall project schedules.
* Identify potential delays, programme risks and opportunities, implementing mitigation strategies to support successful delivery.
* Prepare accurate programme reports, schedule updates and management dashboards for project teams and clients.
* Review contractor programmes and contribute to programme assurance, governance and wider project controls activities.
* Work collaboratively with project managers, contractors, consultants and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
* Promote best practice in planning and scheduling, helping to improve consistency and programme management processes.
* Provide guidance and mentoring to junior planners, supporting their professional development and the wider planning function.

Essential Skills and Experience

* Demonstrable experience in project planning within construction, infrastructure, utilities or major capital projects.
* Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, with experience using Microsoft Project being advantageous.
* Excellent scheduling, programme analysis and reporting capabilities.
* Good understanding of project controls, programme governance and planning methodologies.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to influence project outcomes and support successful delivery.

Desirable Experience

* Previous experience delivering infrastructure, energy, utilities, regeneration or public sector projects.
* Knowledge of NEC contracts and programme assurance processes.
* Membership of, or progression towards, a recognised professional body such as APM, AACE, ICE or equivalent.

What's on Offer

* The chance to contribute to high-profile infrastructure and energy programmes across the UK.
* Involvement in complex and rewarding projects with leading industry professionals.
* A supportive and collaborative working environment that encourages career development.
* Genuine opportunities for progression within a growing organisation.
* Hybrid working arrangements, a competitive salary and an attractive benefits package.
