As part of their continued growth, they are now seeking an ambitious Graduate Health andamp; Safety Manager to join their team and develop a long-term career within a supportive and forward-thinking construction business.

The Role

As Graduate Health andamp; Safety Manager, you will be responsible for:

Supporting the implementation of the company's Health andamp; Safety strategy across multiple construction projects
*

Assisting with site inspections, audits, and safety reviews
*

Monitoring compliance with current health andamp; safety legislation and company procedures
*

Supporting the preparation of risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work
*

Assisting in the investigation of incidents and identifying preventative measures
*

Working closely with site teams to promote a positive health andamp; safety culture
*

Helping deliver health andamp; safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives
*

Maintaining accurate health andamp; safety records and compliance documentation
*

Supporting pre-construction teams with planning and risk management activities
*

Building strong relationships with operational teams, subcontractors, and clients
*

Developing your knowledge of construction legislation, CDM Regulations, and industry best practice through ongoing mentoring and training

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Graduate Health andamp; Safety Manager will have:

A degree or equivalent qualification in Health andamp; Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Management, or a related discipline
*

A genuine passion for developing a career within construction health andamp; safety
*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*

A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
*

The ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of the business
*

Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
*

A full UK Driving Licence or be working towards obtaining one

Desirable

*

NEBOSH General Certificate or willingness to work towards it
*

Previous placement, internship, or site experience within construction
*

Knowledge of CDM Regulations and UK Health andamp; Safety legislation
