Mechanical Project Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join their growing team, managing residential building services projects.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical building services, with proven experience managing projects within the residential sector. You will be responsible for overseeing projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage residential mechanical projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover.
* Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
* Develop and manage project programmes, budgets, and schedules.
* Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and health andamp; safety.
* Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
* Manage project risks, variations, technical issues, and programme changes.
* Ensure mechanical works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, contracts, and relevant regulations.
* Attend site and progress meetings, providing regular updates to clients and senior management.
* Manage subcontractor performance and ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
* Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Essential experience in mechanical building services.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within the residential construction sector.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical services and their installation within residential developments.
* Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, programmes, budgets, and project delivery.
* Strong communication and client management skills.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Good commercial awareness and attention to detail.
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects to tight deadlines.
* Relevant construction or project management qualifications are desirable.
