Mechanical Site Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced and hands-on Site Manager to join their team, working on residential building services projects.

The successful candidate will have proven experience within the residential construction sector, with mechanical building services experience being essential. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage the day-to-day running of residential construction sites.
* Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and site operatives.
* Ensure mechanical and associated building services works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.
* Monitor progress against the programme and ensure key deadlines are achieved.
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality throughout the project.
* Ensure all site activities comply with health andamp; safety requirements and company procedures.
* Liaise with the Project Manager, clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.
* Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress.
* Manage deliveries, materials, plant, and site resources.
* Identify and resolve site issues promptly.
* Coordinate snagging, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
* Maintain accurate site records, reports, and relevant documentation.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

* Essential experience in mechanical building services.
* Proven experience as a Site Manager within the residential construction sector.
* Strong understanding of mechanical installations and building services.
* Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on site.
* Good knowledge of construction health andamp; safety requirements.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive, hands-on approach to site management.
* The ability to work to tight programmes and deadlines.
* Relevant site management qualifications, such as SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid, are desirable/required as applicable.
