Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager on behalf of our client, an established and growing civil engineering and groundworks contractor.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of groundworks and civil engineering projects, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.

Our client is open to both freelance and permanent candidates, with long-term opportunities available for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

Overseeing the day-to-day management of site operations.

*

Managing groundworks, drainage, foundations, infrastructure and associated civil engineering packages.

*

Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, plant and materials.

*

Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time and within programme.

*

Maintaining high standards of health andamp; safety and site compliance.

*

Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.

*

Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and subcontractors.

*

Monitoring progress, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions.

*

Ensuring quality standards and project specifications are consistently met.

*

Maintaining accurate site records and reporting on progress.

Requirements:

*

Proven experience as a Site Manager within civil engineering or groundworks.

*

Strong technical knowledge of groundworks, drainage and infrastructure projects.

*

Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.

*

Ability to read and interpret drawings and construction programmes.

*

Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

*

SMSTS qualification.

*

CSCS Card.

*

First Aid at Work.

*

Full UK driving licence preferred.
