Health and Safety Advisor - Contract / Day Rate

Location: Liverpool
Duration: Until June, with potential for the right candidate
Working Pattern: Monday-Thursday: 10 hours per day | Friday: 7 hours
Overtime: Required during shutdown periods

We are seeking an experienced Health andamp; Safety Advisor to join a small project team on a site-based assignment in Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity for a safety professional looking for a day-rate contract, with the potential for ongoing work until June for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out regular site inspections and monitor compliance with health and safety standards.
* Deliver site and project inductions to ensure personnel understand site rules and safety requirements.
* Review health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
* Identify unsafe practices, report findings and support the implementation of corrective actions.
* Provide practical health and safety advice and support to the project team.
* Support additional activities and overtime requirements during planned shutdown periods.

Requirements

* Proven experience in a site-based Health andamp; Safety Advisor role.
* Strong knowledge of site safety inspections, inductions and safety documentation.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a small project team.
* Good communication, organisational and reporting skills.
* Relevant health and safety qualifications and industry experience.
