With a focus predominantly on industrial, commercial, residential and retail developments, projects range in value from £2m to £20m, offering a varied workload and the opportunity to take ownership of multiple schemes from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role

As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of multiple projects, overseeing Site teams and working closely with commercial teams, clients and senior management to ensure schemes are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing multiple construction projects across a range of sectors
* Providing direction and support to site-based teams.
* Monitoring project programmes, budgets, quality and overall performance.
* Maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and consultants.
* Working closely with commercial teams to manage costs, variations and contractual obligations.
* Identifying and managing project risks, delays and potential issues.
* Ensuring high standards of health and safety across all sites.
* Reporting on project progress and performance to senior management.

About You

* Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within a main contractor environment.
* Experience delivering a broad range of projects.
* A proven track record of managing multiple projects, ideally with values up to £20m.
* Experience leading and coordinating project teams.
* Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of construction contracts.
* Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
* A proactive approach to programme management, quality and health and safety.
