The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and the successful securing of several long-term projects valued at £5m+, we are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to join our expanding London team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing business delivering high-end commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects across Central London. Working across CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B schemes, you will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality, programme and commercial performance.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, this position offers long-term stability, significant project responsibility and the opportunity to contribute to the continued growth of the business.

The Role

Reporting to the senior management team, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of your allocated projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects valued at £5m+.
*

Overseeing all project stages, including pre-construction, design coordination, procurement, mobilisation, construction and handover.
*

Delivering CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B schemes to the highest standards.
*

Developing and monitoring project programmes, managing critical milestones and proactively addressing potential delays.
*

Coordinating design teams, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives.
*

Managing procurement, project costs, variations and risk registers in conjunction with the commercial team.
*

Maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality assurance and site management.
*

Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and the supply chain.
*

Providing regular progress updates and reporting to senior management.
*

Overseeing commissioning, snagging, practical completion and final handover.

About You

We are seeking a delivery-focused Project Manager with a proven track record in high-end commercial office fit-out, ideally with a commercial fit-out or design-and-build contractor.

You will demonstrate:

*

Extensive experience delivering CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B commercial fit-out projects.
*

A proven track record managing projects valued at £5m or above.
*

Strong technical knowledge of commercial interiors, construction methodologies, design development and building services coordination.
*

Excellent programme management, organisational and problem-solving skills.
*

Strong commercial awareness, including procurement, cost control, variations and risk management.
*

The ability to lead project teams and subcontractors while maintaining high standards of performance and accountability.
*

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
*

A proactive, hands-on approach, with the ability to take ownership of projects from inception through to completion.
*

Relevant construction qualifications and certifications, including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid, where applicable.

Additional requirements:

*

A minimum of 12 months' continuous employment in a Project Manager position with a recent employer.
*

At least two professional references.

Previous experience working for a commercial fit-out or design-and-build contractor is essential.
