Location: Hybrid- to include home, site and working from any of their leisure facilities
Salary: £70,000 per annum + Car Allowance
Bonus: Performance-based bonus potential

About the Role
We are currently recruiting for a Group Project Manager to join a leading health, fitness, and leisure brand with a large number of clubs and spas in the UK. This role offers the opportunity to take strategic ownership of high-value capital investment projects and lead a team of Delivery Project Managers in successfully executing multi-million-pound developments and refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities
Project Leadership andamp; Strategy

* Lead, support, and manage a team of Delivery Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards.
* Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
* Oversee the execution of multiple concurrent refurb and new build projects across the portfolio.
* Maintain alignment with business objectives, risk assessments, and master project schedules.
Financial andamp; Commercial Management

* Set, manage, and control project budgets from approval to completion.
* Analyse past spend to inform forecasting and budget setting.
* Lead procurement for consultants, contractors, and specialists; manage tender processes and contract negotiations.
* Monitor spend and deliver regular cost reporting to senior stakeholders.
Compliance andamp; Risk Management

* Ensure compliance with health andamp; safety, CDM, and relevant building legislation.
* Oversee the acquisition of necessary planning permissions, landlord consents, and insurances.
* Manage risk assessments, mitigation planning, and warranty/guarantee controls.
* Conduct supplier audits and ensure all documentation and project controls are in place.
Stakeholder andamp; Supply Chain Management

* Work closely with internal departments to gain project approvals and ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration.
* Manage supply chain capacity and quarterly reviews to ensure project readiness and continuity.
* Liaise regularly with senior leadership on programme status, risks, and handover timelines.

What We're Looking For

* Minimum 5 years' experience managing construction or fit-out projects of £2m+ within the Leisure Industry
* A relevant building or construction qualification (HND or equivalent preferred).
* Strong technical knowledge of construction, building services, and compliance standards.
* Thorough understanding of CDM regulations, Handamp;S legislation, and asbestos regulations.
* Strong leadership, organisational, and project delivery capabilities.
* Proven track record of budget control, procurement, and cost-saving initiatives.
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally Europe as needed.
