About the Company

Our client is an established construction contractor specialising in the delivery of high-quality design-and-build projects across the industrial, commercial and residential sectors.

Due to continued growth and an expanding workload, they are looking to recruit an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to strengthen their commercial team.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven Project Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for the financial and contractual management of construction projects.

Working closely with the operational and commercial teams, you will oversee the commercial lifecycle of projects, ensuring costs are controlled, contractual obligations are met and financial performance is maximised.

You will be involved in all aspects of project commercial management, from procurement and subcontractor negotiations through to valuations, variations, cost reporting and final accounts.

The role would suit a Quantity Surveyor with experience working for a main contractor, ideally within a design-and-build environment, who is confident managing projects independently and building effective relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.

Valuations, Variations and Final Accounts

*

*

Manage variations, change control and additional works.
*

Ensure all variations are properly valued, recorded and agreed.
*

Maintain accurate contractual records and commercial documentation.
*

Manage client valuations and payment applications.
*

Lead the preparation, negotiation and agreement of project final accounts.

Project and Stakeholder Management

*

Work alongside Project Managers, Site Managers and senior operational staff to support successful project delivery.
*

Attend project progress and commercial meetings.
*

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
