Pay Rate: £19.22 per hour

We are currently recruiting for Customer Care Agents - Housing to join a busy customer service team based in Hull.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with strong customer service skills who enjoy helping people, solving problems and making a positive difference to customers' lives.

The Role

As a Customer Care Agent, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of inbound telephone calls and emails, supporting customers with a range of housing-related enquiries and issues.

You will aim to resolve queries at the first point of contact wherever possible, providing a professional, empathetic and efficient service.

A key part of the role will involve raising emergency repair jobs with the Gas Department, ensuring urgent issues are logged accurately and dealt with promptly.

You will also work closely with internal housing and maintenance teams, as well as external partners, to ensure customers receive the support they need.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidates will have:

* Previous customer service or contact centre experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Confidence using computer systems and accurately recording information.
* Experience working towards and achieving performance targets.
* The ability to remain calm and resilient in a busy, fast-paced environment.
* A flexible and empathetic approach when dealing with a diverse range of customers, including vulnerable individuals.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
