Easter Treats for the BCUK Team and St.Helens Young Carers

Easter got ‘egg-citing’ for the BCUK Team when we treated the entire business to some well-earned Easter eggs to say thanks for all their hard work and dedication.

We wanted to give something back to the wider community we work with and got in touch with the Carers Trust, to see if there was anything we could do to support this amazing charity this Easter.

Carers Trust is a major UK charity dedicated to transforming the lives of unpaid carers—individuals who provide essential care for family members or friends who are ill, frail, disabled, or facing mental health and addiction challenges. Formed in 2012, they operate through a vast network of over 130 local partner organisations across England, Scotland, and Wales - we found out about the Carers Trust through working with our Clients across the construction sector.

We reached out to the St.Helens branch of the charity, who were delighted as there are a number of young carers in their network, who would love an Easter Egg.

Kayleigh Owen, Young Carers St.Helens Centre Manager said “It was lovely to meet with you all today. I just wanted to follow up with an email to say Thank you again for taking the time to come and visit us today and for your very kind donation of Easter eggs! The Young Carers were made up with them!”
