Job Title: Site Manager (Temporary) - Fit Out Projects
Location: Scunthorpe to Whitby (with potential visits to Newcastle and Tadcaster)
Day Rate: £300 per day
Project Value: £350k to £500k
Overview:
Our client is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for Fit Out projects covering 2-3 sites predominantly based from Scunthorpe to Whitby, with occasional visits to Newcastle and Tadcaster.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a long term contract involving the upgrade and refurbishment of public and commercial spaces, on various train station buildings throughout the East Yorkshire region. Projects will typically range from £350k to £500k.
The role is a temporary contract for 3 months, with the potential to transition into a permanent position for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing day-to-day site operations on multiple Fit Out sites
* Managing a team of contractors and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard
* Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
* Ensuring all site activities comply with health,safety, and environmental regulations
* Reporting on project progress and managing any issues or delays
* Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards
Requirements:
* Proven experience in managing Fit Out projects
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage teams and liaise with clients
* A proactive, problem-solving approach and the ability to work under pressure
