Our client, a leading private practice and cost consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in the North West. With a diverse range of projects valued between £50k and £200 million, they deliver high-quality services across various sectors of the construction industry.

About the Role:
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take the lead in cost management, procurement, and contract administration for large-scale projects. You will ensure the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget, while also mentoring junior staff and supporting senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

* Oversee cost management from project inception to completion
* Lead procurement, tendering, and contract administration processes
* Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
* Provide strategic advice on risk management and cost control measures
* Mentor and develop junior Quantity Surveyors
* Ensure projects meet client expectations and are delivered on time and within budget

About You:

* A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* Extensive experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects
* Strong expertise in cost management, procurement, and contract administration
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* A proactive, client-focused approach with great attention to detail
