Gas Supervisor

Our client, an energy and compliance firm, is actively seeking a skilled Gas Supervisor to join their team in Liverpool



As a Gas Supervisor, you will play a key role in enabling the delivery of the company's future growth strategy by managing contract requirements for a range of gas-related jobs.

Full Job Description:

As a Gas Supervisor you will be working full-time on a permanent basis, delivering services across Merseyside.

You will enable the delivery of the company's future growth strategy by managing a team of engineers responsible for gas installations, maintenance, and repairs, as well as completing void tasks, responsive repairs, and planned maintenance. The role involves working predominantly in the field to oversee a wide range of jobs in both domestic, social housing and commercial properties, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work and meeting client and business KPIs.



Your responsibilities will also include:

* Build strong working relationships with the field-based team.
* Ensuring high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental delivery and behaviours across the team.
* To report to and work closely with the Contract Manager, as well as Regional Operations Managers
* Review and approve engineer timesheets and deal with queries, in conjunction with Contract Managers.
* Day to day management of field-based team, including managing and monitoring staffing levels and annual leave, sickness and other absences, reviewing and managing performance and quality, carrying out investigations and fact finds.
* Lead on team communication, including carryout toolbox talks, and delivering any other company information as required to the field-based teams.
* Deal with field-based team queries and where possible, act as first point of contact to informally resolve any issues and concerns.
* Lead on performance and quality, assist with technical support, and mentoring and training of engineers.
* To ensure all KPI are met along with contractual compliance.
* Work and deliver within set budgets.
* Any other duties as required in line with the job role and responsibilities.



What we are looking for:

* Experience in working in domestic heating
* ACS Qualifications
* Previous experience in a supervisory role is desirable
* A full UK driving license
