1x Groundworker

Job Opportunity: Groundworker



Location: CW8

Duration: 2 Weeks

Rate: £20 per hour

Start Date: Monday (17th February)



We are seeking 1x Groundworker to start on a site in CW8, who has a City and Guilds Confined Space Ticket and a valid CSCS.



Responsibilities:

* Excavation and Trenching: Digging and preparing trenches for sewer pipes, ensuring proper depth and alignment.
* Site Preparation: Clearing and leveling ground before construction begins.
* Pipework Installation: Laying and connecting sewer pipes, ensuring correct positioning and secure joints.
* Assisting Other Trades: Supporting bricklayers, plant operators, and other site workers.
* Working Safely in Confined Spaces: Entering and working within deep trenches, manholes, or underground systems following strict safety protocols.
* Safe Handling of Materials: Lifting, transporting, and storing heavy materials following manual handling guidelines.



Requirements:

* Driving License
* City and Guilds: Confined Space Ticket
* Valid CSCS
* Ability to work efficiently and follow health and safety guidelines.
