Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Estimator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure competitive and profitable tender submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for roofing and cladding projects, including materials, labour, and subcontractor costs.

Review and analyze project specifications, drawings, and requirements to determine project scope and cost implications.
*

Obtain and negotiate competitive pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
*

Work closely with the sales and project management teams to develop competitive tender submissions.
*

Attend pre-tender and post-tender meetings with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
*

Identify potential project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
*

Maintain and update pricing databases to ensure accurate costings.
*

Contribute to value engineering and cost-saving initiatives to enhance project profitability.
*

Assist in contract negotiations and handover to the project delivery team.

Requirements:

Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within the roofing and cladding sector.
*

Strong knowledge of different roofing and cladding systems, materials, and installation techniques.
*

Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*

Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
*

Strong negotiation and communication skills.
*

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
*

Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation.
