Quantity Surveyor - Immediate Start (3-Month Contract)

£400 per day | Weekly Pay

A leading UK construction and property services provider, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team immediately on an exciting high-rise new build residential project in Cardiff.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced project and make an immediate impact during a key phase of delivery.

Role Overview:

You'll take ownership of commercial duties on site, supporting with subcontractor management, valuations, and cost reporting while ensuring financial targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
* Oversee cost tracking and budgeting
* Liaise with subcontractors and manage payments
* Support month-end reporting and financial forecasts
* Ensure compliance with contract terms (NEC/JCT)

Requirements:

* Strong background as a Quantity Surveyor in new build or high-rise residential construction
* Solid understanding of NEC or JCT contract frameworks
* Detail-oriented with strong commercial acumen
* Immediately available and able to commit to a 3-month contract
* Cardiff-based or able to commute daily
* CSCS card

Contract Details:

* 3-month contract
* £400 per day
* Immediate start
* Site-based in Cardiff
