Salary: £55k - £75k (experience dependant)

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Technician with proven experience in roofing, cladding, and facades to join a market-leading specialist in façade remediation. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a pioneering firm renowned for delivering high-quality cladding solutions that prioritize safety, functionality, and design.

As a key member of the technical team, you will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of façade remediation projects across the UK, contributing to design detailing, technical support, and the coordination of architectural elements from concept through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation for façade and cladding projects.

Support project delivery teams in the execution of remediation works, ensuring designs meet safety regulations, quality standards, and aesthetic requirements.
*

Liaise with site teams, engineers, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless project execution.
*

Contribute to investigations, site surveys, and the development of project detailing for external envelope systems.
*

Assist in achieving compliance with the Building Safety Act, Building Safety Regulator requirements, and the Golden Thread of information.
*

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are achieved.

Required Skills and Experience

*

Minimum of 3 years' experience in architectural roles related to roofing, cladding, and façade design.
*

Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally Revit or other BIM software.
*

Strong understanding of UK building regulations, particularly those related to façade safety and remediation.
*

Experience preparing detailed construction drawings and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
*

Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
*

Knowledge of EWS1 certification process is advantageous.

Desirable Qualifications

*

HNC/HND or Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
*

Membership with CIAT or working toward professional accreditation.
*

On-site experience and familiarity with remediation processes for combustible cladding materials.
