Our client is a well-established renewable energy specialist based in Liverpool, known for delivering innovative and sustainable heating solutions across the Northwest. With a strong track record in the sector, they focus on cutting-edge technologies including air and ground source heat pumps and are currently expanding due to increased demand for energy-efficient solutions.



Role Overview:

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our client's growing operations team. This is a key position responsible for overseeing the delivery of mechanical works on renewable energy and heating projects. The successful candidate will have a solid background in mechanical installations-ideally with gas engineering or boiler experience-and will thrive in a hands-on supervisory role.



Key Responsibilities:

* Supervise and coordinate mechanical teams on-site across renewable and low-carbon heating projects
* Ensure works are delivered to a high standard, in line with project timelines and compliance standards
* Carry out quality and safety inspections and support ongoing risk management
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers, acting as the on-site technical point of contact
* Support with hands-on installation and troubleshooting when needed
* Maintain detailed project documentation and site reports
* Uphold company health and safety procedures across all activities



Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Valid CSCS card
* Proven experience in mechanical installations-renewables, pipework, heating systems
* Gas engineering or boiler installation experience is beneficial
* Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
* Full UK driving licence (van and fuel card provided)
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team
