Job Opportunity: CSCS Pipe Layer



Location: Deeside

Duration: 4 Months

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: £24 per hour CIS

Hours: 9 Hours Paid per day



We are seeking 4x CSCS Pipe Layers to start ASAP on a very large industrial site laying large concrete pipes, this role is for 4 months work.



Responsibilities:

*

Excavating trenches to specified depths and gradients for pipe installation.
*

Laying and aligning large concrete pipes accurately to ensure proper flow and structural integrity.
*

Using lasers, levels, and string lines to maintain correct pipe gradients and alignments.
*

Installing pipe bedding and surrounds using suitable materials like sand, gravel, or concrete.
*

Connecting pipe sections securely with gaskets, seals, or couplers to prevent leaks.
*

Backfilling and compacting around pipes to required specifications.
*

Reading and interpreting site plans, drawings, and utility maps.
*

Operating hand and power tools safely and effectively.
*

Working alongside machine operators, groundworkers, and site engineers.
*

Adhering to all site-specific health and safety regulations, especially related to confined spaces and heavy lifting.
*

Using CSCS-approved practices and maintaining a tidy, safe work area.



Requirements:

* Driving License
* Valid CSCS Card (Blue/Gold)
* Confined Spaces (Ideally)
* Must be able to provide recent references
* Own Tools and PPE
* Ability to work efficiently and follow health and safety guidelines.
