Project Manager - Interior Fit-Out (Bentley Motors)

Location: Crewe (Bentley Motors HQ) - with potential travel to Telford (MOD site)
Job Type: Full-Time | Freelance / Temp-to-Perm (after 12 weeks)
Salary: £55k + van and fuel card

About the Opportunity

We are recruiting for a permanent position at Bentley Motors in Crewe on behalf of a well-respected, £8m turnover fit-out contractor. This role would suit a strong Site Manager or Project Manager with experience in interior fit-out or refurbishment and a client-facing mindset.

This unique opportunity involves direct engagement with around a dozen Bentley Engineers, so being presentable, personable, and proactive is essential. A key aspect of the role includes low-level business development-essentially being visible on site, building trust, and strengthening relationships with the Bentley team.

There's also potential for this role to expand to cover MOD facilities in Telford, adding diversity and scope to your portfolio.

You'll report directly to the Operations Director and manage a range of CAT A and CAT B projects up to £500k in value.

Key Duties

*

End-to-end project delivery: planning, programming, procurement, quality, and Handamp;S
*

Preparation of RAMS and management of site Health andamp; Safety
*

Conduct 07:30 daily briefings and toolbox talks
*

Manage direct and subcontract labour (cards-in process)
*

Prepare take-offs, order materials, tools, and plant via in-house buyers
*

Ensure work meets programme timelines
*

Deliver 'right-first-time' quality with full final inspections and handovers
*

Act as main client interface (Bentley Engineers), maintaining excellent site relationships
*

Maintain professional site records and documentation

Requirements

*

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) - Essential
*

CSCS Black Card or working toward NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management
*

Strong site management experience in fit-out or refurbishment (ideally in commercial, industrial or leisure sectors)
*

Reasonable level of IT knowledge, particularly Word, Excel and e-mails.
*

Confident communicator with professional presence and good interpersonal skills
*

Demonstrated longevity and stability in past roles
*

Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
