Multi Skilled Joiner

Job Title: Multi-Skilled Joiner (Temp to Perm)
Location:Manchester
Rate: £20 - £22 per hour (CIS)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Benefits: Company van, fuel card, and full tool kit provided



We are recruiting an experienced and reliable Multi-Skilled Joiner to join a well-established housing association based in Salford. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity working on domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day maintenance and repairs across tenanted and void housing stock.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake a range of joinery repairs and installations, including doors, frames, skirting boards, kitchen units, windows, and locks.
*

Carry out basic multi-trade works including patch plastering, minor plumbing, tiling, and general repairs as necessary to complete jobs.
*

Deliver responsive and planned maintenance tasks in line with work orders and schedules.
*

Work independently across occupied and unoccupied properties while ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
*

Adhere to health andamp; safety procedures and maintain high quality standards in all work.
*

Use a PDA or mobile system to manage and record job progress and completion.
*

Provide excellent customer service to tenants and represent the organisation in a professional manner.

Requirements:

*

NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Carpentry/Joinery.
*

Proven experience in a similar role within social housing
*

Full UK Driving Licence - essential.
* Asbestos Awareness preferred
*

Comfortable working independently and managing daily workloads.
*

Good understanding of health and safety on site.
