Your new role

Our client is seeking an experienced Joinery Estimator to join their growing team. This is a key role that involves accurately pricing bespoke kitchen, bedroom, and interior joinery projects while liaising with clients, suppliers, and the production team to ensure smooth delivery and high customer satisfaction. Ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys being involved from tender to delivery.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing accurate quotations for bespoke kitchen and bedroom furniture projects.

Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and site measurements.
*

Liaising with suppliers to obtain material costs and lead times.
*

Producing detailed cost breakdowns, schedules, and pricing documents.
*

Assisting in value engineering to meet client budgets without compromising quality.
*

Supporting the sales team with technical advice and pricing during client meetings.
*

Visiting project sites when required to assess requirements and measure works.
*

Managing tender documentation and maintaining accurate records of estimates.
*

Communicating with the production and design teams to ensure feasibility and cost alignment.

What you will need to succeed:

Proven experience in a joinery, interiors, or furniture manufacturing estimating role.
*

Strong understanding of bespoke joinery materials, fittings, and manufacturing processes.
*

Ability to read technical drawings and interpret client briefs.
*

Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
*

Proficiency in MS Excel and estimating software (experience with Cabinet Vision or similar is a plus).
*

Good interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with internal teams and external clients.
*

Self-motivated with strong organisational and time management skills.
