Your new role

Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing commercial team in Prescot. The successful candidate will take the lead on pricing and tendering a variety of office fit-out and refurbishment projects across the North West. This is a key role where you will contribute directly to the company's continued growth and client success by preparing accurate and competitive costings.

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing accurate cost estimates for Cat A andamp; B fit-out and refurbishment projects
*

Reviewing tender documentation, drawings, and specifications
*

Liaising with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotes
*

Conducting site visits to assess project requirements and constraints
*

Preparing and presenting tender submissions to the Commercial Director
*

Working closely with the project and design teams to develop cost-effective solutions
*

Monitoring cost variations and assisting with value engineering
*

Supporting contract handovers to ensure clear cost baselines
*

Maintaining a database of rates and pricing information

What you will need to succeed:

*

Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction or interiors/fit-out
*

Strong knowledge of estimating techniques, building materials, and trades
*

Experience with refurbishment or design andamp; build projects is highly desirable
*

Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel
*

Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
*

Strong negotiation and communication skills
*

Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlines
*

Full UK driving licence and willingness to conduct occasional site visits
