Job Title: Architectural Technician
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Salary: Negotiable (dependent on experience)

I am currently working with a well-established contractor based in Stockport who specialise in fit out projects across the commercial sector. Their portfolio includes schemes within the industrial, office, rail, leisure, retail, and education sectors.

They are looking to appoint an Architectural Technician to join their in-house design team. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong technical background who is looking to work on a broad range of fast-paced and design-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed technical drawings and construction packages using AutoCAD (Revit experience advantageous)
*

Assist in preparing and submitting planning and building regulation applications
*

Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external consultants
*

Ensure all designs comply with current UK building regulations and industry standards
*

Contribute to the smooth delivery of projects from concept through to completion

Candidate Requirements:

*

Previous experience in a similar architectural or technical role, ideally within fit out or commercial construction
* Experience or knowledge of Cat A and Cat B Fit out projects.
*

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software
*

Solid understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction detailing
*

Strong communication and coordination skills
*

Organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
