Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a respected and growing name in the UK construction industry, delivering high-quality projects across the commercial, residential, and public sectors. With a strong reputation for collaboration, innovation, and reliability, they are seeking to expand their commercial team with an experienced site-based Quantity Surveyor based across Manchester andamp; Liverpool

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor who thrives in a fast-paced, site-focused environment. You'll be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of live projects, ensuring financial efficiency and successful delivery in line with client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and manage cost plans, valuations, and progress claims
* Conduct regular site visits and collaborate with delivery teams
* Manage procurement, subcontractor packages, and payment cycles
* Track and report on project costs and financial performance
* Provide contractual and commercial advice throughout the project lifecycle
* Maintain compliance with industry standards and company policies

What We're Looking For

* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within subcontractor sector
* Strong cost control, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar discipline
* Proactive and detail-focused with excellent communication
