Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum

About the Role:

A leading interior fit-out company is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Estimator to join their team in Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for a high volume of interior fit-out and office fit-out projects.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the preparation of detailed cost estimates and take-offs
* Source and analyze quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
* Assist in the development of project budgets
* Liaise with clients, designers, and contractors
* Use estimating software to prepare accurate costings
* Review project progress and identify potential cost variances

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:

* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
* Strong analytical and numerical skills
* Good understanding of construction methods and materials
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
* Experience with estimating software (e.g., WinQS, CostX) is advantageous but not essential
