The Opportunity

Due to continued growth and the successful securing of several long-term projects, we are looking to appoint an experienced Night Shift Site Manager to oversee a high-end commercial office fit-out project in Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and growing business delivering high-end commercial office fit-out and refurbishment projects across Central London.

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of night-time site operations, coordinating subcontractors and trades to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

The role will commence on 11th January, with an initial week working day shifts before transitioning permanently onto night shifts (21:00-05:00) for approximately 24 weeks.

Candidates must be comfortable and available to work nights for the duration of the project.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all on-site activities throughout the night shift, coordinating subcontractors and site teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of the project.

Key responsibilities will include:

Managing all day-to-day site operations during night shifts.
*

Overseeing CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B commercial office fit-out works.
*

Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, trades and site personnel.
*

Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with agreed programmes and project milestones.
*

Managing site logistics, deliveries, material movements and subcontractor sequencing.
*

Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with company procedures and statutory requirements.
*

Carrying out regular site inspections, quality checks and progress monitoring.
*

Coordinating with Project Managers, design teams, consultants and client representatives.
*

Monitoring workmanship and ensuring installations meet the required specifications and quality standards.
*

Managing site documentation, RAMS, permits, toolbox talks and daily records.
*

Providing regular progress updates and ensuring effective communication between day and night teams.
*

Overseeing snagging and ensuring works are completed to the required standard.

About You

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Site Manager with a proven track record in high-end commercial office fit-out, ideally with a commercial fit-out or design-and-build contractor.

You will demonstrate:

Extensive experience managing CAT A, CAT A+ and CAT B commercial office fit-out projects.
*

Previous experience working on high-value commercial fit-out projects.
*

Strong technical knowledge of commercial interiors, construction methodologies and fit-out sequencing.
*

Proven ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and trades on complex construction projects.
*

Excellent knowledge of health and safety legislation and site procedures.
*

Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
*

The ability to manage site programmes, logistics, resources and day-to-day construction activities.
*

A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to take ownership of site operations.
*

Relevant construction qualifications and certifications, including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid.

Additional requirements:

*

Previous experience working as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects.
*

Comfortable and fully available to work night shifts (21:00-05:00) for approximately 24 weeks.
*

Available to start on 11th January.
*

Previous experience working for a commercial fit-out or design-and-build contractor is essential.
