Building Careers Gears Up for UKREIIF in Leeds

Building Careers, a leading name in the construction and social housing recruitment sector, is ready to make waves at the upcoming UK Real Estate and Infrastructure Investment Forum (UKREIIF) in Leeds next week.

With a strong presence from key industry players, Building Careers has deployed Growth Director, Debbie King, and Management Consultant, Ian Cheveau, to lead the charge as the duo capitalise on the high-profile event, which is a cornerstone in Building Careers' networking calendar.

In anticipation of the event, Debbie King, who is attending the Leeds extravaganza for the first time, said: “Attending UKREIIF in Leeds marks an exciting opportunity for Building Careers to engage with industry leaders and make many valuable connections.

“As a newcomer to this event, I'm eager to immerse myself in discussions surrounding social housing and construction, and I anticipate that this forum will provide invaluable insights for our business.”

Debbie says the timing couldn’t be better for Building Careers as the green shoots of the market that threatened to come up after Christmas, are now ready to bloom.

She added: “I think the market is a different one to what we’ve seen before Christmas. A lot has changed in the space of a few months and we are seeing more opportunities for candidates across the sectors. Building is taking place right now, and we have the candidates ready to go. That’s the message we’ll be sharing.”

Echoing Debbie’s sentiments, Ian Cheveau, Management Consultant at Building Careers, emphasised the significance of UKREIIF for business growth and brand visibility.

He said: "Having attended UKREIIF previously, I understand the immense value it brings to our industry and the opportunities it presents for Building Careers. It's a platform where ideas are exchanged, partnerships are forged, and innovations are showcased. I look forward to leveraging our presence at UKREIIF to further strengthen our position in the market."

UKREIIF stands as a flagship event in the Building Careers calendar, offering a prime opportunity to network with colleagues from construction and social housing businesses across the nation. With a roster of high-profile attendees from diverse sectors within the industry, the event promises to be a hub of knowledge sharing and collaboration.

"Building Careers recognises the importance of making connections within the industry, and UKREIIF provides an ideal setting to do just that," added Debbie.

"We're excited to engage with fellow professionals, exchange ideas, and explore potential avenues for collaboration that will ultimately drive growth and innovation in our sector."

With Debbie King and Ian Cheveau leading the charge, the company is poised to make a lasting impression at this prestigious event, solidifying its position as a key player in the construction and social housing recruitment landscape.

The event is set to gather 10,000-12,000 delegates in 2024and raise £20m for the local economy through visitor spend. Some of the big construction names in attendance this year consist of Wates, Galliford Try, Winvic, Kier, Morgan Sindall, Tilbury Douglas, Laing O’Rourke, Wilmott Dixon and Vinci.

Similarly, dozens of local authorities will be there as well as housing giants Clarion, Lendlease and Muse, to name but a few.
